Top 10 Issues
Brigadier General Brundidge, challenged the Society, at IDLS2010, to identify the top ten issues that would face the Data Link Community in the future. Lt Cdr Roy Johansson Chairman of the International Data Links Society wrote to Brigadier General Brundidge outlining what we felt the top ten issues were.
A Brief Overview
The International Data Links Society (IDLSoc) started in 2004, after delegates at the third International Data Links Symposium (IDLS) voted to create a Society.
It is a not-for-profit organization set up to represent the international data links community through individual, government and corporate memberships.
Its aims include
- To provide a Government-Industry forum
- To further interoperability
- To further the effectiveness of digital information exchange
- To create a framework of co-operation across nations
The Quick Guides are a set of Data Links guides, which give an overview of different forms of Data Links. The Society is looking to add to these guides.
To view the guides, please go to the Quick Guides page in the Publications area.
